Alex Tsway (born in 1991) is an artist based in Seattle, Washington. His series shown above explores the complex feelings growing up between cultures. He feels “not yellow enough for China, nor white enough for America”. Tsway believes by acknowledging the identity crisis we can move on as a collective conscience. This can create pathways to create a new identity that Asian Americans can relate too and feel proud about.
