Marc Ressang is a filmmaker and photographer based in Shanghai, driven by a desire to record human stories across the world. In his series “When The Sun Goes Down In The East”, Ressang captured the wild nightlife in Shanghai. "Just after arriving in Shanghai in 2011, he started working as a photographer in the local nightlife circuit. During his four years of working late any given night of the week, there were a countless instinctively captured moments that never saw the light of day. Wrapping up this chapter of his life in Shanghai, he is now working on putting everything together in a book.”
