A few years ago I had a dream and I determined to leave behind a fairly comfortable life, and came a long way to Beijing for my dream. Facing the hustle and bustle of city life, my emotions lead me to question myself; why am I here, why do I study, and what do I want?
It was not until I became fascinated with photography that I finally discovered my direction, and found the key to the door I was searching for. Moreover, I am honoured that, because of photography, I met great teachers and good friends such as Chen Shen, Cai Mon and Fu Yu. Each of them has a great artistic sense and achievements, a love of life, rich in emotion, and they give me the courage to pursue photography. I would like to express special gratitude to Zhang Xiaoling for his support. He gives me belief in my future path and the confidence to follow it.
Previously, my life was like stagnant muddy water, without vitality. Photography is like a flowing spring, pouring into my soul, making my thoughts and mind clearer. Perhaps it might be better to say that photography chose me rather than I chose photography. Photography teaches me how to live life, how to be a man, how to appreciate the beauty around me, and it teaches me to learn to cherish and understand gratitude.
I still have a long way to go, and i am doing my best in my life and my work. I would like to dedicate beauty works to the people I love and who love me.
