For nearly half a century, the Chinese population has experienced an unprecedented acceleration of its movements, succeeding a highly controlled mobility under Mao. Jérémie Descamps, Sylvie Landriève, Thomas Sauvin and Caroline Bodolec will exchange about this topic, while showing the documentary Images et imaginaires de la mobilité en Chine directed by Jérémie Descamps and Frédéric Henriques.

This open studio will show Xiaoliang Huang's photographic work, based on daily routines, and mainly composed of slices of life, or "daily details". The artist will also present a video/projection/installation and paintings. According to Xiaoliang Huang, when we look more closely at this world, we discover that we are finally becoming actors in this real life over time and through successive stories. Xiaoliang Huang (China) is in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the program of the City of Paris.
