Statement by photographer:
In 2017, I travelled to Wuhan for my brothers wedding. At the time I was unaware of the inadvertent time-capsule I was creating before the city would forever be linked to the outbreak of Covid-19. It was my first trip to China and I stayed an extra month to explore and photograph the city and the surrounding area. This photograph was shot using a Fuji GW680iii Medium Format Rangefinder, using Fuji Pro 160NS Film
