"Face au déferlement des images: comment artistes et photographes en Europe et Asie réagissent aux mega data" is the first colloquium organized by the TK21 online magazine. The organizers Jean-Louis Poitevin, Martial Verdier, and Hervé Bernard have gathered seven guests speakers from around the world to reflect upon the status of images today and the encounter with the Asian world. On this occasion, they invited Photography of China’s founder - Marine Cabos-Brullé - to give a paper that examines the ways in which photographic archives of China are being reconstructed and reinvented through digital practices.
