Where are my orders shipped from?
In order to support our vibrant community of publishers and artists, we sell photobooks and photographic prints directly from the publishers and independent artists themselves. As a result, the geographic location of your order may vary depending on the seller's location (France, China, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands...).
When will my order be shipped?
After placing an order via Photography of China Platform, this order is received by the provider. The provider strives to ship directly to you within 7 to 10 business days after you have placed the order. If for any reason the provider is not able to ship your order within 10 business days, the provider will inform you directly. If you have placed an order on a bank holiday or during the holiday season, longer shipping times will apply and the provider will inform you on a case-by-case basis.
How shipping rates are calculated?
Shipping rates may vary depending on the seller's location and your own. We understand that shipping costs can add up, especially when purchasing from sellers located on the other side of the world. However, if you're looking to purchase multiple books from the same seller, you'll only have to pay a single shipping fee. This is a great way to save on shipping costs and support the artists and publishers you love. Thank you for supporting our community!
Do I need to pay customs & import duty?
Depending on your country, tax and import duties may apply to your order. For example, if you are situated in the United States and are purchasing from a provider in Singapore you may need to pay import charges. The import charges depend on the value of the products. Any such charges must be borne by you, Photography of China and the providers have no control over such charges. To prevent any surprises when ordering goods on Photography of China Platform, we recommend you check your local customers officials for more information on import duties and taxes that may apply in your country.
Can I return my product?
If you and the provider are based within the European Economic Area, you can return your purchase within 14 days. For any purchase made from a provider that is not a member of the European Economic Area, or if you are not a national of this area yourself, the right of withdrawal is not applicable.

The item you are returning is your responsibility until it reaches the provider. Therefore, we recommend using a parcel delivery service so you are able to check the status of your return and are also insured in the event that something goes wrong. You are responsible for the costs of returning your items, unless specified otherwise. If you decide to return the products, we strongly advise you to inform us and the provider as soon as possible of your intention to return the products.
You need to return the product not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us and the provider. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You may only return products as long as they are (i) unused, (ii) in the original undamaged packaging (carefully opened packaging will not be considered damaged) and (iii) if the products are complete (for example, when returning a photobook that includes other objects inside, all of them must be returned).
How will my refund be issued?
Once the provider has received the returned items in the same state as they were sent to you, you will be eligible for a refund of the initial payment (including original shipping costs). The refund process may take up to 14 days after the provider has received the goods. Refunds will be made with the same payment method you used to order the goods. It could take up to 14 days to process the payments. Please note, import taxes and duties will not be included in the refund.
