In literature and cinema, the double embodies the darkest unconscious desires of a person, which he got rid of under the pressure of society, his own morality or other factors. In fact, the appearance of a double symbolizes the splitting of the human personality into two components, one of them is absolute evil, the other is absolute good. Deadly sins are a set of rules that can also be interpreted in two ways – if for one side of the personality it is a set of prohibitions, then for the other – the dark one – it is a call to action and an indicator that the crime will be really destructive. Meeting a double, a person cannot avoid dialogue with him – whether it is a conversation or a battle, one way or another contact will be established between them, from which there is the only sure way out – to create conditions for the unification of both sides of the personality into one.
